Best Ever Breakfast Sausages

Full flavored with the fat or tons of sugar. Whispers of maple, these are savory and sweet.

RECIPE:

15 servings bite-sized servings

21 cals/1.1g total fat/.5g sat fat/.3g carbs/3g protein/.1g sugar

1/2 pound 93% ground turkey
3/4 tsp ground dried sage
dash freshly grated nutmeg
dash allspice [I used a microplane to shave a bit off a whole allspice]
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp brown sugar
dash cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp Diamond Kosher salt
1 tbs fresh parsley, finely minced
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp sugar free pancake syrup

Using a fork combine all the ingredients in a bowl. A fork helps keep the meat tender and avoids over mixing. Pinch off a piece of the meat, shape into a patty with a small indent in center to avoid buckling and pan fry it in a pan pre-heated over medium heat. Spray with Avocado cooking spray first. Cook your small patty and taste for seasoning. Then cook up the rest. Cook 4-5 minutes, flipping half way. I cover on the second side to ensure they're cooked in the center. I use a melon baller to make 15 small balls that I flatten, make an indent in center and cook.
